Small Groups and Bible Studies

We offer a wide variety of Small Group and learning opportunities.  Many of them are offered through our Wednesday Night Programs, but some are offered at different times as well.  Whether you enjoy knitting, are interested in learning about different ways to pray and worship, or want to discuss meaningful issues in your life, there is a place for you.  Here are just a few of the opportunities for your involvement:

Disciple Bible Study Series: This is an in-depth course of study that takes the participant through all of the scriptures.  There are various courses that go beyond Disciple I and focus on particular parts, but this church has offered this series for a long time because of its value and effectiveness.  Class times and locations vary from year to year, but usually have offered weekly classes for 34 weeks.  Contact the church office (502-227-7430) to find out how to enroll in this very valuable course of study.

Women's Bible Study: This group meets for several months at a time during weekdays to grow deeper spiritually and enjoy the fellowship and encouragement of other believers.  Tonya Kenner has taught courses on the Psalms, the Power of a Praying Woman, and has used everything from video, reading studies, to weekly discussions.  This is a great way to get to know other ladies in the church, so please contact Tonya if you are interested through the church office (502-227-7430) or through email (tonyafumc@fewpb.net).

Men's Prayer Group: A group of men meet each week on Tuesday Morning at 7:00 a.m. for devotion and prayer.  They meet in the Wood Parlor of the Todd House, and would love for you to join them in starting your day off right.
