Senior Adult Ministries

We call the Senior Adult Ministries of our church Triple L, which stands for Living Longer and Loving It. It is for people 55 years old and older (though we have not turned away a visitor yet), and we offer a variety of experiences including fellowship, study, inspiration, service, and travel. Many hours are donated from this church every week in helping with the operations of the congregation, and we meet regularly, each third Thursday of the month at 11:30 a.m. in the Asbury Hall of the Wesley Center. We usually have a catered meal at a cost of $5.00 with a program to follow that usually involves discussion and learning. We also do regular day trips for those who would like to participate. At least once a year we do an extended trip to travel to different parts of the country, but we also have traveled to the state fair, on shopping trips, to various craft fairs, on a train ride in Stearns, KY, to Shakertown, and we love to eat, going to great restaurants all over the state. Recently the group took a trip to Savannah, Georgia, where they ate at Paula and Sons Restaurant.
