Coffee House setting

On the First Sunday evenings of the month at 5:00 pm, our church continues to offer a new kind of worship service to the central Kentucky area. The unique aspect of the service, which is held in Asbury Hall, is that it features original art, jazz music and the Word delivered in a coffee house setting around tables. Dinner is served at 5:45 pm (for a suggested donation of 5 dollars), and art exhibits are presented.

Jazz musicians include: Dave Shelton, keyboard; Robert Griffin, percussion; and Matt Davidson, bass. Beginning at 6:45 guests are invited to stay for a 45 minute in depth teaching and discussion on the scripture or contemporary issue. A nursery will be provided.
